W5S2: Class - 'Photoshop Images for Web' Tutorial Notes

When working in Photoshop on a laptop with retina display, go to 'Get Info' (right click on the Photoshop application) and tick 'Open in Low Resolution'

960 x 560 px is the standard screen size
Work in RGB colour profile, then convert to CMYK when printing
Use Layer Comps to make different states easily (e.g. buttons)
Name your layers for easy use (and because you will be handing in your Photoshop files)
Output using ‘Save for Web’
Export using PNG-24 (Decide whether you want Transparency ticked or not)
